Baby Daniela

What a joy to be a small part of this little one's first few days of life!  Miss Daniela has arrived, and she is lovely... Her little features speak for themselves, and her family is head over heels... I was fortunate to photograph her beautiful mama while pregnant with this sweet baby, and I was thrilled to meet Daniela and capture just a few moments of her infancy.  Big brother Oliver is in love, and I even caught "Annie", Kary's mom, at the house.  Three generations of love in one room... it was a special session for me.   

Party of 5

The Shiley family traveled from Holly Springs to have their photos taken at the beautiful Oak View Park.  The boys were such good big brothers to their little sister, and Mom and Dad showered the kids with love during the entire shoot.  My favorite part about working with this awesome family was their desire to have fun!  They ran and played and laughed and wanted it all captured by the camera. Loved it!  

The cuteness of Graham...

Oh, my... what a little love Graham is... and his mom and dad are great, too!  Lindsay is quite the photographer, so I was really flattered and excited when she asked me to photograph her family to mark Graham's second birthday.  We brainstormed over what might keep the attention of an almost two year old for an hour long shoot, and balloons were definitely the answer... he did so well, and I think he knew that he was the center of attention, because he seemed to be smiling in almost every photo!   

Keeping Cool

My good friend Annie called me to schedule a session when she decided to surprise her husband with some photos of their son, Patrick.  She was looking for some prints to display in Patrick's bathroom, so we decided to hold the shoot in Annie's backyard with Patrick's new baby pool!  He was clearly a willing participant, and I cannot wait to see the final product in her house!
