I can't put into words how precious this family was to photograph. All three kiddos have such individual personalities, and their wonderful mother was laid back and ready for some fun shots! She scheduled the session at a park in Wake Forest, and the setting was just right. There were great backdrops and lots of land for everyone to run and play. Fall had just arrived in Raleigh, and the light filtered through the changing trees perfectly. I loved every second of this session!

Baby Marley
Marley! What a cutie! She had just started walking, and she wanted to show off her new moves all afternoon! Her big personality is the best, and I love her smiles! Marley's mama is so sweet and so much fun, and we had a great afternoon with Miss Marley on the grounds of the North Carolina Art Museum last fall.

The Parrish Family
The Parrish family invited me to their home to capture their adorable children. The beautiful property around us was just the backdrop for these little faces! I was happy to spend some time with all of them, and I think we timed it perfectly. The leaves and the sun were gorgeous on this afternoon, but the eyes on the kiddos were what I loved the most... and the fun time we that we had!

Baby Carson
Welcome to the world, little one! This sweetie was awake the majority of our session, despite being only eight days old! She was afraid she might miss something? So when those eyes closed, we worked fast! Her mama's calm demeanor helped so much to get her to finally sleep, and I loved getting to know this family a bit more! The sweet nursery and great conversation with mom made me want to stay all afternoon.

The Guptills
The Guptills are great friends of mine. Both Jeff and Alison were in my wedding, so I was thrilled to move to Raleigh to be closer to them. Alison is a talented photographer herself, and I was flattered when she asked me to photograph her family for their Christmas card. What a wonderful family!

Trampoline Fun
I enjoyed this family because each one of the members had great ideas about the shoot. It started out very traditionally, and we worked off of the striking leaves and the cozy backyard setting with the help of the new puppy, and then the kids wanted to show me their awesome trampoline! They were truly delightful!
