Art Museum

This time last year, a Sunday morning in March meant seventy degrees and sunshine.  Last week it meant temps in the fifties and drizzle.  But this awesome crew persevered despite the weather, and we played and ran all over the grounds of museum.  Well, the toddler ran all over the grounds and his lovely parents, sister and I all tried to keep up with him!  We were even able to capture a few family shots! Thanks for letting me capture these sweet faces and spend a fun morning with you all!

Six Months!

This little one has just turned six months old, and she and her family allowed me to capture her at this precious age.  Lovely big sister got into a few shots, too.  The evening was one of the first this year that showed signs of spring, and everything came together beautifully.  The light from the setting sun was gorgeous, and all the colors from the session made it hard to turn any images into black and white!  It was also my first session of the season and the first real session I've had since having a second baby of my own, so it was a special one for me.  I love these photos!

She's here, and we're in love!  I had the best intentions to have a full blown newborn photography session with this sweet bundle, but somehow it never happened!  I have grabbed the camera when I can, and I find with time, it's getting easier to do this more often, so there will be more to come, including some great pics of Charlotte with her big sister, Finn.  If you follow MasonDee on Facebook (HERE is the link), you have already seen some of these, but here are a few of my faves from Charlotte's first week of life!

The lovely Sarants!

Sometimes some of my favorite sessions take place right in the comfort of a client's home, and this session is no exception.  The Sarants have a beautiful home that is ALL GIRL!  Dad is outnumbered in this house!  Sweet big sis loved on her baby sister during the entire shoot, and the nursery and little girl's room were both so gorgeous-  complete with lots of pink and even chandeliers!  The afternoon was especially mild for December, so the outside portion was perfect for everyone-  it couldn't have gone better...
