The B Family

Although it hadn't felt like it, an entire year had passed since I photographed this family, and I loved working with them again and seeing how the family had changed over the year!  The kiddos are bigger, and even Sugar, the dog, has matured a bit- she seemed a little more willing to pose for us!  We spent a beautiful afternoon in the family's backyard, and I loved how much joy they all share in spending time together.  The camera couldn't resist the sweet faces of these two cuties, and it was a pleasure to be able to capture the entire family on a lovely day.  

A Day at the Park!

One of the perks to my job is having the opportunity to watch families grow, and since this time last year, the Sonntag crew has gotten so big, although baby brother is still trying to keep up with his older siblings!  Mom organized this fun shoot around the beautiful Pullen Park, and it was a hit with all of us!  The kids got to run and play on all the rides, and I had the opportunity to capture them in a setting filled with bright colors and clearly lots of laughs.  Also, check out the wardrobe... The Cross Family

A few weeks ago, I had the privilege to work with this wonderful family, their two sweet girls, and their dogs!  We were a little nervous about the weather as it had rained the entire night before, and the humidity was really high, but everything came together, and I loved spending the morning with the entire crew!  The dogs were beyond cooperative and also gentle with the little ones, and the sisters were so cute together- and their mom had picked out gorgeous outfits for them.  We were grateful the weather held up for us in order to have this great session.

Little Wheat

 It was fate that I ended up in Raleigh with this family-  Todd and I were college neighbors and close friends at Virginia Tech, and he and Tricia are incredible- full of fun, happiness, kindness and love.  Being near them has only become sweeter since little Carlyle was born.  Meet little William Carlyle Wheatley.  The shoot was wonderful-  he was the most alert newborn I have ever seen!  He's already brilliant. Their dog, Mojo, is the most protective big brother I have ever seen ... and they had cool props to work with-  like Todd's dad's homemade wooden cradle Todd's Virginia Tech jersey... it's hard to believe that one day this little person might fit into it!  Congrats to the Wheatleys!
